Terms & Services

Last updated: July 2, 2026

These Terms govern two things, both operated by DeepDialogue LLC (“we”, “us”):

  • Part A — purchases from our online shop at deepdialogue.co, and
  • Part B — your use of the DeepDialogue iOS app (the “App”).

By placing an order or by downloading or using the App, you agree to these Terms. Where a section applies to only one of them, we say so.

Who We Are

DeepDialogue LLC
1178 Broadway, 3rd Floor #3231
New York, NY 10001, United States

Part A · Online Shop

This part applies to purchases of physical products through our online store.

Scope

These terms apply to all purchases made by consumers through the online store operated by DeepDialogue LLC (referred to as “we,” “us,” or “Seller”). By placing an order, you agree to them. Any conflicting terms from the Customer are not accepted unless explicitly agreed to in writing. A “Customer” is any individual purchasing products for personal, non-commercial use.

Formation of Contract

Product Listings

All product descriptions in the online store are non-binding and do not constitute a legal offer.

Placing an Order

By completing the checkout process and clicking the order button, you submit a binding offer to purchase the items in your cart.

Acceptance of Order

The seller may accept your order by:

  • Sending an order confirmation email
  • Shipping the product
  • Requesting payment

The contract is formed at the moment one of these actions occurs. If the seller does not accept your order within 5 days, the offer is considered declined.

Express Payment

If you choose an express payment method (e.g. PayPal Express), your order is accepted immediately upon completing the payment process.

Order Storage

Order details are stored and sent via email. However, the contract text may not be accessible on the website afterward.

Order Corrections

Before submitting your order, you can correct your information using standard browser and checkout tools.

Language & Communication

These Terms are provided in English. Order processing and communication take place via email. You are responsible for providing a valid email address and ensuring you can receive communications, including checking spam folders.

Right of Withdrawal / Returns

Customers may have the right to cancel or return their order. Details regarding returns, cancellations, and refunds are provided in the Shipping & Returns policy.

Prices and Payment

Pricing: All prices are listed in USD and include applicable taxes unless otherwise stated. Shipping costs are shown separately at checkout.

International orders: For international deliveries, additional costs (e.g. customs duties, taxes, currency fees) may apply and are the responsibility of the Customer.

Payment methods & due date: Available payment methods are displayed during checkout. Payment is due immediately upon order completion unless otherwise stated.

Payment Providers

The seller may use third-party payment providers such as PayPal, Stripe/Shopify Payments, Klarna, Mollie, and credit card providers. These providers process payments under their own terms and conditions. The seller reserves the right to refuse certain payment methods based on risk or credit checks.

Shipping and Delivery

Delivery: Products are shipped to the address provided at checkout. If you use PayPal or similar services, the address stored with that provider may be used.

Failed delivery: If a package cannot be delivered and is returned, the Customer may be responsible for additional shipping costs.

Risk of loss: Risk of loss and title for products pass to you once the product is handed over to the shipping carrier.

No local pickup: Local pickup is not available.

Warranty

All products are covered by applicable legal warranty rights. If a product is defective or damaged, you are entitled to remedies in accordance with applicable consumer protection laws.

Limitation of Liability (Shop)

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the seller is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, and total liability is limited to the amount paid for the product. This does not apply where liability cannot be excluded by law (e.g. gross negligence, personal injury).

Intellectual Property (Shop)

All content on the website, including branding, product design, text, and images, is the property of DeepDialogue LLC and may not be used without permission.

Part B · DeepDialogue App

This part applies to your use of the DeepDialogue iOS app.

Acceptance

By downloading or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

The Service

DeepDialogue is a conversation-card app that offers guided question prompts to help couples and parents have deeper conversations. It provides the prompts, tracking of your progress, optional cloud sync, and an optional Partner Mode.

Not Professional Advice

DeepDialogue is a tool for reflection and conversation. It is not therapy, counseling, medical, legal, or psychological advice, and it is not a substitute for professional help. If you are experiencing distress or relationship or mental-health difficulties, please consult a qualified professional. You are responsible for how you use the prompts and for your own decisions and conversations.

Accounts

  • You can use the App without creating an account. On first launch the App signs you in anonymously so your progress is backed up.
  • Creating an account (Email, Google, or Apple) lets you recover your data, sync across devices, and use Partner Mode.
  • You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for the activity under your account.
  • You must provide accurate information and be old enough to use the App (see Eligibility).

Content & Intellectual Property (App)

  • The App’s conversation prompts, design, and other original content are owned by DeepDialogue LLC and protected by intellectual-property laws.
  • Content is provided for your personal, non-commercial use. You may not copy, redistribute, resell, or create derivative products from our prompts without permission.
  • We may add, change, or remove content at any time. Some content may be offered as paid/premium features in the future.

Your Content

  • You may write personal notes on cards. You keep ownership of your notes.
  • Your notes are stored on your device and, if you’re signed in, synced to your account.
  • We do not routinely monitor personal notes. You are responsible for what you write.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • use the App for any unlawful purpose;
  • access or interfere with other users’ accounts or data;
  • disrupt or overload our servers or the App’s functionality;
  • reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App except where permitted by law;
  • use bots or automated systems to access the App.

Partner Mode

Partner Mode links two accounts via an invite code so partners can share progress. Only share your invite code with a person you trust. You can disconnect at any time.

Eligibility

The App is intended for adults. You must be at least 16 years old (or the age of digital consent in your country) to create an account.

Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability (App)

  • The App is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind to the extent permitted by law.
  • To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App.
  • Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law (for example, for intent or gross negligence, or mandatory consumer rights).

Termination

  • You may stop using the App and delete your account at any time (Settings → Delete Account).
  • We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these Terms.
  • On termination, your right to use the App ends; data deletion follows our Privacy Policy.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles and without prejudice to mandatory consumer-protection rights you may have where you live.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms. We will update the “Last updated” date and note material changes.
